We love our girls when they fight for themselves. Such plots become way more interesting when they get anime adaptations. The artists make the characters come to life, and also give a breath of fresh air to the action scenes.
Busous Shoujo Machiavellianism, also known as Armed Girl’s Machiavellianism is Japanese manga series. Karuna Kanzaki was behind the illustration of the manga, while it was written by Yuya Kurokami. The series was serially released in Kadokawa’s Monthly Shonen Ace from March 2014 to June 2022. The anime adaptation of the series was aired from April 2017 to June 2017. The anime was created by Silver Link and Connect.
Hideka Tachibana was behind the direction of the anime. It was written by Kento Shinoyama. The character designs were handled by Shoko Takimoto. Hiromi Mizutani from Team-MAX was responsible for the music of the anime. On 25th November 2017, an original video animation was released alongside the manga’s 7th volume. In North America, Sentai Filmworks was responsible for licensing the series. MVM films picked up the anime for its release in the United Kingdom.
The anime received massive appreciation from its viewers. So much so that the fans wanted a second season of the show.
Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism Season 2 Release Date
Season 1 of the anime aired in 2017. It has been five years since then. The first season has twelve episodes and has an OVA. Since the end of the first season, fans have been waiting for the release of the second season.
After the release of the first season of the show, the makers of the show have given us no news regarding either the cancellation or the renewal of the show. There has been no official announcement regarding the release of season 2 of the show. It is uncertain if we will have a second installment of the show. Several times it has happened in the past that an anime did not return for a second season after quite some time has passed. Is the same happening here? Well, we do not know.
We can only hope for a second season, but it strictly is in the hands of the producers and makers of the show.

Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism Season 2 Story
The plot of the first season revolves around Fudou Nomura. He was expelled from his previous high school which was why he was transferred to Private Aichi Symbiosis. Now, this school was essentially an all-girls school, but since its transformation into a co-ed one, a group of five girls was formed as a vigilante group. Rin Onigawara was the leader of the group. This group, “Supreme Five Swords”, held Nomura has sword-point which led him to challenge them and show his capabilities.
The anime is an adaption of its manga. The first season of the anime adapted only some first few volumes of the manga. If the creators decide on making a second part of the anime, they will not run out of ideas or source material. They have enough source material to cover if they decide to make season 2.
However, it has to be kept in mind that season 1 of the anime series was shown to have a complete ending. Even though the anime has enough source material, since the storyline was already shown to have a decisive ending in the first season of the series, it is very unlikely that the anime will return for a second installment. It is unfortunate indeed, but circumstances allude that the anime will not have a second season anymore.
Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism Season 2 Characters
The main character of the show is Fudou Nomura who was voiced by Tasuky Hatanaka in Japanese and Scott Gibbs in English. Rin Onigawara was voiced in Japanese by Yuki Takada and Kira Vincent Davis in English. Mary Kikakujou was voiced by Sayaka Kitahara and Maggie Flecknoe in Japanese and English respectively. Nozomi Nishida voiced Satori Tamaba in Japanese and Allison Sumrall gave her voice in English. Along with them, there are characters too.
Since there is no news regarding season 2 of the anime, we are not sure who will voice the characters if the show returns.
