Dakaichi follows the story of Takato Saijo and Junta Azumaya. Takato is an actor since his childhood days and has been awarded the title of “Sexiest Man of the Year” in the film industry for the past 5 consecutive years. However, his title is then awarded to Junta, a young upcoming actor. Takato Saijo sees Junta as a threat and a rival, while on the other hand, Junta admires Takato as an actor and is also in love with him.
