Darker Than Black Season 3 Story
The storyline of Darker Than Black is indeed a very unique one that fans are instantly hooked on. This anime received good positive reviews from critics and fan response was also very good. However, after Darker than Black: Gemini of the Meteor there have been no announcements about a third season. As a result, no storyline is available either.
Darker Than Black focuses on a fantastical world where spatial anomalies notwithstanding any laws of physics have opened up in the sky. “Heaven’s Gate” appeared in the South American skyline while “Hell’s Gate ” appeared over the Tokyo skyline. Because of this, war has wreaked havoc over the world and there are those with special powers called ‘contractors’. These are cold-blooded murderers hired by many nations to carry out assassinations.
The story follows “Hei”, a mysterious Chinese Contractor. He works under an organization called Syndicate. Viewers are treated to some intense action scenes and a fast-paced storyline. Hei embarks on various assassination missions while also searching for his lost sister.
A spin-off series titled Darker than Black: Gaiden was released in 2010. But there are no details about the release of the third season yet. You should check out the anime series if you haven’t already.

The protagonist of the anime is ‘Hei’, a mysterious contractor who ventures on various assassination missions. He lives a false civilian life under the pretense of being a shy student named Li Shenshun. Hei is accompanied by an artificial human, Doll and Mao, Huang and Yin.
These characters are voiced by some of Japan’s very prominent voice actors. Hidenobu Kiuchi voices the character of Hei. While Masaru Ikeda, Misato Fukuen, Ikuya Sawaki voices the characters of Huang, Yin and Mao respectively. Last but not the least, the characters of Misaki, Amber and April are voiced by Nana Mizuki, Tomoko Kawakami and Takako Honda respectively.
