We love reality shows where the participants have to compete against each other. It is super exciting to watch and also extremely entertaining. When competitions are going on in reality shows, we cannot seem to keep our calm owing to our adrenaline rush.
Drag Race is one such television Drag queen competition show. The franchise was created by RuPaul. The competition’s origin can be traced back to 2009 in the United States. RuPaul’s Drag Race was created as a replacement for Rick & Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple In All The World (2007-2009). RuPaul’s Drag Race aims to bring the next “Drag Superstar” who would be full of charisma, talent, nerve, and uniqueness. RuPaul’s Drag Race is often attributed to bringing drag into the mainstream media.
Drag Race Italia is the Italian version of RuPaul’s Drag Race. This Italian edition is produced by Ballandi Arts Studio. The format of the Italian version of the show is quite similar to that of the American version of the show. The show requires its competitors to compete for the “Italia’s Next Drag Superstar” title. The winner assuming the title is given a chance to be MAC Cosmetics’ ambassador for a year.
Drag Race Italia Season 3 Release Date
The first episode of Season 1 of the series premiered on 18th November 2021. The cast for the first season was announced on 29th October 2021. The show’s second return to the television screens was officially confirmed on 1st March 2022. The premiere of the show was confirmed on 20th October 2022.
Regarding the show’s return for a third installment, we do not have any such news. It is mainly due to the fact the show has been renewed for its second run very recently. The successful ending of Season 1 led to the creation of Season 2. We will probably get a third season if the second season becomes a hit like the first one. However, these are assumptions. It cannot be stated with conformity if we will have a third season. We will have to wait for any further updates from the creators of the show themselves.

Drag Race Italia Season 3 Story
Essentially, Drag Race Italia is a TV reality show where the competitors have to compete against each other.
In Season 1 there were 8 contestants. They had to compete against each other to win 30,000 pounds, a chance to be MAC Cosmetics’ ambassador, a year-long supply of cosmetics, a crown, and a scepter from Fierce! Drag Jewels.
The grand prizes for the winner of Season 2 have not been announced yet. We will get to know them soon.
As far as the talk of Season 3 goes, we will have a bunch of contestants who will have to compete against each other. The format of the show may or may not remain the same. Some changes can be brought, but the main part of the show, which is to compete against the others, will remain the same.
Drag Race Italia Season 3 Cast
The cast of Season 1 of the show included Elecktra Bionic, Farida Kant, Le Riche, Luquisha Lubamba, Ava Hangar, Divinity, Enorma Jean, and Ivana Vamp. The winner of Season 1 was Elecktra Bionic. The judges’ panel included Priscilla, an Italian drag performer, Chiara Francini, an actress, and Tommaso Zorzi, a TV personality.
The contestants of Season 2 include Aura Eternal, La Petite Noire, La Diamond, Nehellenia, Panthera Virus, Skandalove, Gioffre, Obama, Tanissa Yonce, and Narciso. The first episode had the guest judge Patty Pravo. Episode 2: “Colourful Drag, Lucky Drag” included Ludovico Tersigni and Nancy Brilli as the guest judges. The guest judges for Episode 3 have not been announced currently.
Since there is no news regarding Season 3 of the show, the cast of the show is unknown to us. Once the creators decide to return the show for its third run, the cast will be announced at its given time.
