What Is The Reason Behind Jin Leaving BTS?
There is no definite news that Jin will be leaving BTS. But still, let’s take a look at the probable reason behind his leaving. Well, first off, there is no bad blood between any of the members of BTS. Jin is not leaving because of any quarrel or bad blood with the other members. Secondly, he is not leaving BTS for any kind of relationship or dating reasons. So what is the reason behind his leaving? Well, in South Korea, there is a rule that every man must complete compulsory military service.
Recently, there has been an amendment to the rule that artists can postpone this service. And the members of BTS were postponing their service till now. But the military service must be completed before thirty-five. As artists, the members could postpone their service until the age of thirty. And Jin is going to turn thirty very soon. So he has recently filed a request for termination of the postponement with the Military Manpower Administration (MMA). This military service will have to be undertaken by the other members of the boy band too.
So it seems that the other members will be leaving for the completion of their service in the army. This is also the main reason why Big Hit Entertainment has announced the hiatus for BTS with a reunion planned for 2025. But it is unclear whether Jin will have to leave the boy band to complete his service.
When Is Jin Leaving?
A new amendment to the rule of compulsory service in the army states that artists can postpone their service until thirty years of age. After that, they have to complete their service. And Jin is going to turn thirty soon. Even though there is no particular news about him leaving and the exact time when he will be leaving, it can be expected by the end of 2022 or at the beginning of 2023. Big Hit Entertainment stated that Jin is expected to leave for his service after the release of his solo album “Astronaut” and after promotional acts for the album will be over. Jin has been going around doing shows for Astronaut. But fans are not sure when he will be leaving.
Will BTS Continue Without Him?
The most important and dreaded question that fans are asking has to be this. Most often bands tend to break after one of their members leave. Will it be the same for BTS? It is very hard to answer this question. All the members of the band will have to leave to carry out their compulsory military service. And that is the reason why the band is going on a hiatus. It is likely that all the members will be leaving to complete their services during this period. But it is very unlikely that BTS will continue performing without Jin. The band is very close-knit and all the members are like a family to each other.
