My First Girlfriend Is A Gal is one such anime that has been specially designed for teenagers. Also known as “Hajimete No Gal”, this anime was adapted from a Japanese manga written by Meguru Ueno. Since November 2015, the anime had been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten’s shonen manga magazine Monthly Shonen Ace. The manga has fifteen tankobon volumes.
The anime version of the manga was taken up by NAZ for its production. The series has ten episodes. It aired from 12th July to 13th September 2017. Behind the direction of the series was Hiroyuki Furukawa. Furukawa is known for My Wife Is The Student Council President, an erotic comedy. Yuchiro Momose was behind the script, and Yashikin of MAGES was responsible for the creation of music for the anime.
My First Girlfriend Is A Gal Season 2 Release Date
Season 1 of the anime aired in 2017. It has been almost five years now. We do not have any news regarding the cancelation or renewal of the series. the officials have not revealed any single word regarding the second run of the anime since its end in 2017.
It can be assumed that since many years have passed, the anime will not be renewed for a second season. Although there is enough source material to continue the series, season 1 of the series was already given an ending with no cliffhangers. Also, less enthusiasm from the viewers and poor ratings are other reasons to assume that the anime will not return for a second season.
However, if the creators decide to make a second installment of the show, the show will perhaps return in 2023, but the chances of that happening are slim to none.

My First Girlfriend Is A Gal Season 1 Rewind
Like every other teenage individual who wants to have a partner romantically, if not that, they suddenly become very curious and enthusiastic about physical intimacy, Junichi Hashiba also wants to have a girlfriend. He is a bashful lead character who is always accompanied by his group of perverse friends.
Yukana Yame is the ever-beautiful girl who makes heads turn. Inevitably, Junichi proposes to her, and she accepts his proposal. After they both are together, things start to take a turn. Junichi suddenly starts to gain attention from girls who never looked at him earlier. Some sprinkles of jealousy are also witnessed in the show. In the beginning, everybody thought Junichi and Yukana were just fooling around, but they slowly start to develop real feelings for each other. Finally, they are seen kissing in the closing credits of the anime.
What To Expect from My First Girlfriend Is A Gal Season 2 Story?
Season 2 of the show will be a continuation of season 1. The series will portray the various ups and downs that the pair will have to go through as a couple. There will be people trying to sabotage their relationship, but how they will come out of that will probably be shown in season 2, if we have one.

Since season 2 is predicted to be a continuation of season 1, the cast will also remain the same, the cast as in the characters of the show.
However, since there are slim to no chances of the show returning for a second season, nothing can be said about the cast with surety.
In season 1, Junichi Hashiba was voiced by Shintaro Asanuma in Japanese and Alejandro Saab in English. Yuki Nagaki gave the Japanese voice to Yukuna Yame, and Jamie Marchi gave her the English voice.
