Perdida Season 1 Recap
Perdida follows the protagonist Antonio, portrayed by Daniel Grao, as he travels to Bogota located in Colombia, in order to search for the man who was responsible for the kidnapping of his daughter years ago in Valencia, Spain. In episode 1, he intentionally gets caught at the Columbian customs with drugs so that he can be locked up in a Colombian prison where his daughter’s kidnapper is also locked up. However, his lawyer Angelita, tries for his extradition to Spain. In episode 2, Antonio tries several times to establish a connection with Cruz, his daughter’s kidnapper, but fails. Meanwhile, Antonio’s ex-wife, Inma, and his mother try to figure out the reason behind his disappearance. In episode 3, we learn more about Angelita’s past about how she tried to save a pregnant client and adopted her baby after she committed suicide. In episode 4, Antonio is finally able to contact Cruz who gives him new information about his daughter, Soledad. Inma shows up at Antonio’s drug bust hearing in Colombia but then stays back to investigate his sudden disappearance.
In episode 5, Inma is kidnapped by Cruz’s sister, La Grilla. Back at the prison, Antonio is in danger and tries to escape from there. In episode 6, Inma hides with Sebastian, the police officer who was responsible for the investigation of Soledad’s disappearance. In the next episode, it is revealed that Antonio is missing. Soledad continues to investigate her past and finds a new lead. In the eight-episode, Inma calls Milena and asks her to put pressure on Quilombo. Meanwhile, Soledad plots her escape plan. In the ninth episode, Soledad finally makes a move to escape at Quitombo’s birthday party and is helped by Inma. The episode 10, Inma informs Soledad about her past and La Grilla seeks their help in order to free Cruz from police custody. In the season finale, Antonio searches for Inma and Soledad and Angelita lays a trap for Quitombo in order to apprehend him.
